Paintapik is a longtime ambition of the founder, an Airline Captain, with a passion for conventional art. We realise that although technology has advanced considerably, personal touch and craftmanship seems to have been lost. Paintapik was created to provide a service which allows people of all ages to very simply use the website to convert their favourite photo into a traditional hand painting.
The paintings are created by conventional painters who are masters at their craft and very little if any technology is involved. In a world where photos can be printed and created so readily paintapik hopes that the traditional art of handmade oil paintings will not be lost.
